Abril doesn´t want to let go of her mother´s ashes, doesn´t understand
why she asked her to scatter her remains at the sea.
When I Wake
Irene is undergoing chemotherapy treatment. María, her daughter,
tries to accompany her during the process, but her mother refuses.
One morning, Irene asks María for help. Mother and daughter are
forced to overcome any attempt at denial of the disease.
The Doldrums or How To Cure Sadness
The doldrums are the disease of the soul when the heart saddens.
A story of three generations in the doldrums: Ita, Justa and Alicia
(grandmother, mother and daughter), who, in different periods,
suffered, tolerated and permitted abuse, and the consequent disease.
Alicia decides to break this circle and not pass it on to another generation.
Defective
An old puppet master gathers defective and abandoned dolls from the
garbage bins. With great passion and dedication, he turns these characters
into charming marionettes that now star in his theatrical performances on the
streets, and become again toys cherished and applauded by all the children.
Little Print
Érica is obsessed with drawing with the palms of her hands: paint, paper
and fingers are her whole world; but this could be diluted at any time by
the world of unsatisfied, fearful and angry adults.

A story about violence, a brutal relationship interrupted when the rebellion
of a being who by definition should be docile confronts the abuse.

An indigenous boy named Juan faces what, to him, is a terrible monster.
His fear grows constantly. Seeing this, his grandmother Mariana believes
she has a cure.
Lucy Vs. the Limits of Voice
Lucy, a seven year old girl, wants to know if a person´s voice can run
out and if that could be the reason why her grandpa stopped talking.
To find the answer, she decides to perform a risky experiment defying
her aunt Rose´s strict rules.
The Prickly Pear
Don Severo, a young archeologist obsessed with order, comes home
and can´t find the prickly pear he discovered on his nopal cactus that morning.
He accuses Celia, his maid, of having eaten it.
